In both summer and winter, Niedernsill is an ideal starting point for a holiday. In winter, you can reach Kaprun and Zell am See in just a few minutes by car. In summer you can enjoy the swimming lake, which is just 250 metres from the house – a perfect relaxation spot for hot days – and of course you can also enjoy all that the Hohe Tauern National Park has to offer: for example, the famous Krimml waterfalls (the highest in Europe), the Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße, the Kaprun reservoirs and, of course, the countless hiking and mountain biking opportunities. There are also 2 beautiful golf courses in the area
